Like I said before the game, I think we needed the liked of Nkounkou and Gordon on just for the pace, Iwobi and Davies as wingbacks was just asking for trouble

We just look slow, unimaginative and predictable, so easy to play against and if the opposition press us we crumble.

The first few games of the season were nice, we'll always have those memories to store next to the bulging trophy cabinet.

The thing is we opened them up a lot. The issue was we had Richarlison running at them or Iwobi in space wide left or Doucoure driving forward or James finding a pocket and we turned it into very little. We made the wrong choices or miscontrolled the ball or mishit a pass and next thing you know 85 minutes are on the clock and despite opening a team up 25 times you've got nothing.

As soon as we went in at HT 0-0 I knew they were there for the taking. We didn’t step up and looked absolutely shocking all second half.

Yep, no fitness issues whatsoever but inexplicable confidence issues..

Only beat WBA cos they had a man sent off, they took the lead and equalised if I remember correctly.
Beat Palace with a dodgy as penalty

Lost to a hard working Southampton team but no real quality
Beaten by a poor Newcastle team
Beaten by a poor Man Utd team
Lucky to get a win against Fulham who missed a pen
And we were beaten by a hard working Leeds team, again no real quality in that side, majority have been Championship players for their whole careers

Allan needs someone next to him who can keep the ball. Doucoure needs to be dropped. Shocking player, I’m sick of all you lot defending him because of his physical presence. He’s an awful, awful footballer. Merry Christmas

He picks the team and formation. He thought Alex Iwobi and Fabian Delph were better options at left back than a natural left back who has impressed this season when called upon and offers us what we lack in Dignes absence.

He also thinks having Sigurdsson, Gomes & Delph (Same players who let him down last season and who have been terrible this season) as options as opposed to lads like Gordon who haven’t let him down when called upon and actually impressed and offers us something different, is a good idea.

Im a big fan of Ancelotti but buck stops with him. Crap team selection. Crap formation & crap plan - whatever that was.

i can only assume Niels has an injury. Really odd to leave him out completely otherwise. Not as if he’s not been on the bench recently either is it?

Lacked width and lacked pace. There are two young lads who, while they may have been carrying knocks etc, would put in a much better showing than some of the tried and tested we keep turning to. That sequence when Delph and Gomes passed it between themselves rather than swinging in a cross before putting it out for a Leeds throw summed the second half up.
