We won ugly at Sunderland...it doesn't always happen. City drew a 'must win' at home tonight. Its just football. Arsenal are fragile, and could panic if they go a goal behind to anyone...the result v West Ham was good for them, but Hull could be bad.

even if hull beat Arsenal, we now have to beat United, City & Southampton.....not gonna happen...

Got to give massive credit to Palace and Pulis. They only conceded the goals they did when feeling a little comfier as for the rest of the time they were completely switched on and first to everything. I noticed even in the last minute when the ball went wide to Baines, there was a man straight on his first touch leaving Leighton with no option. They did that all game. That takes incredible commitment which stems from Pulis.

Our biggest mistake was conceding not just one, two but three goals at home. Doesn't matter who you are that just shouldn't happen. We've been down by 1 a few times this season and turned it round and you could always sense in the players that they never panicked. But that second really knocked the stuffing out of us. A really bad night at a time when points are at a premium. It hurt, not gonna lie. But all we can do is dust ourselves down and look forward to turning over 'Moyes' Boys' on Sunday afternoon. I'm certainly not giving up yet and you know Bobby wont be. Go ed Jela, do us a favour lad.

McCarthy had a niggle, hence his omission. Perfectly reasonable decision.

Also I think it was reasonable to play an attacking side because Palace defend so well, as we saw. Roberto gave us every chance of winning.

Unfortunately Mirallas, Deulofeu, Lukaku and to a lesser extent Barkley all had absolute stinkers.

The game was lost because the majority of our attacking players were really poor. And worse than that, they were completely unaccountable defensively, which left us badly exposed and conceding two stupidly soft goals.

If today's fixtures have taught us anything, it's that anything can happen in this league. All we can do is win our games now, and let the rest take care of itself.

Not over yet.

we didnt bottle anything imo, Martinez cocked up and we lost because of it, Baines and Coleman didnt get forward as much without Mccarthy being there to cover, Barkley isnt good there and we missed his attacking threat, playing 3 wingers at once we looked all over the place. Terrible tactics tonight

The reason the rs are were they are because of poor ref desicsions you look at that ref tonight he was shocking not just the refs fault but he was shocking I dread Sunday with that other clown ref doing the game.
No one remember or care about referee decisions when they Wins the league. How many decision gone in the favor of SAF when they were dominating. Yet no one apart from RS complained. It will be the same this MAy. Us and United fans will be claiming that they were helped by referee, yet they scored 90 + goals a season and playing some breath taking footy which is getting noticed by worlds best.

I was bitter about their success, like you . But now what i care is us getting into CL. RS wins or not, we need to win against CITY .

If they win the league its because of the way they played football. What we need to do now is support our team instead of being bitter about the neighbors and get into CL and grow as a club.
