It is rather odd.

I'm not at all confident. The team has been obvious to me other than Sigurdsson/Gomes/Davies.

Best I think we can hope for here is to keep it tight, frustrate and hopefully nick a goal on the break.

If we have a back 4 entirely made up of CBS we should be able to keep this tight and just use DCL and richarlisons pace on the break.

We really need to be trying to get something off of set pieces with 4 CBS as well.

I remember Walter Smith did this one day.

Moyes picked about 7 or 8 defenders one game. Against West ham I think. Hibbert played centre half and sliced a clearance into his own net. Bit harsh really... He could have had three that day.

I couldn't find anything definitive on twitter. I really hope it is just precautionary because he has been hurt a couple times and not a new injury.

At the same time I feel like they sort of need him without Ziyech so I'm not sure why they'd leave him out completely.
