We are containing them well. It's the quality of our hold up play and final passes that holds us back.
Davies loses possession too easily at times, but wins the ball well.
DCL showing his inexperience, but still provides a threat. I wouldn't change anything yet until mid half, then bring on pace, Bolasie maybe.

in DCLs defense he probably just wasn't expecting anyone up there to pass too.

not sure why Niasse isn't getting a chance up top, he's played lonely CF at Hull and scored a few plus you don't have to sub DCL out

yeah i know, but he's stuck the hand up straight away to siggurdsson which suggests he knew he was there, one of the first things they tell you when you're a kid is play with your head up. That's his biggest downfall for me and why he's lacking in end product, he does it all the time when he's shooting, the best strikers keep their eyes on the keeper too looking for the gap. I really like him, his all round play is great, but he's a novice when it gets to the pen area. It'll come with experience obviously, but you can't teach natural goalscorers and sadly he isn't one. To make us go from top 7 we need a proper goalscorer, times have changed since we came 4th with marcus bent.

I hear what you are saying but it would be nice for Calvert-Lewin to have Siggy give him more support. He was hours late in the first half and heavy touch killed us at times.

No one around him to pick any of those touches up he is isolated we are that deep!

I hope we get a striker in asap in Jan, I'm fed up with DCL up front it's not really his fault he just isn't good enough at this moment in time.

Feel the same with bolasie for Davies but sigurdsson offer so much defensively. Martina is terrible but he's rarely allowed to be isolated because of sigirdsson.

True, just feel it’s a way we could nick a win. Bolasie might be a bit rusty, but game time will do him the world of good.
