We are defending well but I do fear that the goal is inevitable
Have faith. 0-0 draw and job done.

Neither of them had been great on the ball.what?
I disagree I don't think they have been that bad, far from great but just about held there own.Davies and Martina worst players on the pitch,
Now now, he's a trainee joirno do he knows bestcheck ur glasses mate.
DCL is working hard and providing an outlet against THREE defenders with no support.
Davies hasn't been great on the ball but there's no reason to take him off[/QUOTE]
You've just said it LOL
Davies is [Poor language removed]
He's a poor striker at this level, as I've said msny times he's a tidy player but that it average at best.

Woeful is a bit unfair, he's battled away against a very good midfield. I think he's held his own ok.Davies woeful today, Martina obviously a huge concern the space he's allowing him down their right. Painful watching such a limited player be the only option at left back.
Lennon and Sigurdsson completely out of the game.
Happy enough with Kenny and Jagielka, but Keane cannot pass and DCL should have so much better when it counted.. that said, I'd not have passed to Gueye either.
Bolasie needs 20/30 minutes here, Niasse could come on. But more than that we need something in midfield cos DCL is being given it to head to nobody.
what a chance, before that i'd have said we should swap DCL for pace in niasse/sandro. Their two centre backs are just two big and strong for him because he's also being outnumbered, but they're also inexperienced, so a bit of harrying from someone like niasse would be much more suitable.
We've done alright though, only 3 or 4 of this team would ideally be in my best everton XI right now, but they haven't created anything clear cut bar those clearances from jags. Snides has been much much better.
