he's done ok, but truth is he hasn't really offered anything.. literally apart from his good game he's just been ok with the ball at his feet, he hasn't been amazing tracking back, and he hasn't created anything going forward, which is his job if he isn't being a striker.

we have 3 better options than him sitting on the bench

Unfortunately Chelsea are a much better team than Southampton. A more accurate comparison will be the game against Spurs.
