McCarthy will be anonymous in this match , as he has been all season imo.
3 men doing the same job ???? why is it needed ?
I don't think chelseas attacking players will look at our so so defencive lineup and be affected .
I think their defence will be quite happy too. mirallas del and lennons pace would have had them panicked though.

Chelsea HAVE TO win today. They'll go for it, we can get these on the counter attack.

We won't get many chances today, crucial we take whatever we get.

Unfortunately Chelsea are playing Mikel and Matic to prevent that which means we will have a very hard time creating anything.

I suspect our only chance today is if the crowd get going and the game becomes a war. Does anyone know who the ref is because we need a soft one who will let the game "flow".

As others have said I suspect he is playing this formation to allow either Besic or McCarthy to give cover to Galloway.
