I would start this if I had the chance. The late 000’s squad was considered limited and performing above its means, it was also assembled for roughly £52 million. This team would absolutely murder our current crop of utter jokers, were our “creative force” Siggursson sets you back £45 million to point and pass backwards. I know it was different time with prices and stuff but Hibbert alone (on very little money in comparison) would give more effort over 90 than all the current tits put together.
If I’m totally honest I wouldn’t be arsed one bit if we lost against Villa, I want them to stay up and see Bournemouth go down.

Why did the present team do so much better,certainly in terms of entertainment, under Big Dunc ? The reason is clear--we moved the ball forward quicker,and got players up in support of the forwards quicker.I find it quite inexplicable why virtually all previous managers got endless stick on this site but but the current one seems to be immune from criticism.His idea of tactics seems to be to play 2 strikers up the field and 9 defenders.Probably acceptable in Italy but surely not here.O.K.--perhaps some of our team are not up to it,but a good manager could get far more out of them

Can't believe we have fans turning on Ancelotti ALREADY.

The fella has done very well to get what he has out of this lot - the form table said it all before the break, blood from a stone stuff. What we have now is exceptional circumstances, it's not even real football.

Add to that a number of them know their cards are marked and don't have a future at the club.

We had one good league match under Dunc, in the other two against Man U we got an own goal and the match vs Arsenal was one of the worst all season

I suppose Leicester wasn't terrible but we still lost
