Can still sign players from Championship after this too. Walcott, Bernard and Kean out could mean either Sarr or Benrahma in - still got plenty of time to do them deals.

Aside from needing a GK, very happy with the transfer window.

As many are suggesting, it looks like there is a plan to develop Simms. If we commit to developing young players, we actually have to bite the bullet and develop young players.

Its like some on here forget how many injuries we pick up.

Its a daft risk to take losing 3-4 attacking players in one day and not bring in atleast 1.

Hearing rumours we are looking at AZ Alkmaar goalie Marco Bizot.

Makes sense, keeps loads of clean sheets would be cheap, experienced at 29 and Brands knows him from his time in Holland.

Actually I have just made this up to see if anyone runs with it.

He also throwing little temper tantrums last season when he wasn’t being played or being subbed off and storming off down the tunnel. He wasn’t good enough for us then and isn’t now.

The 'keeper speculation all sounds very desperate.

Though probably fair to say nobody expected the level of decline we've saw in Pickford - it's almost like he's on a wind up or heavily backing both teams to score.

Midfield was the massive priority, and a centre half. We've done that, let's not do anything stupid today...

As we've seen a little ankle thing will probably keep Richy out for 4 weeks now. Holgate similar.

Which is what annoys me - whats the point you may aswell stick with Lossl and Virginia
