Not sure about players not being prepared to come as ‘back up’. I don’t think players look at it that way. They’ll know they’ll get decent game time and earn top dollar at a club like ours.

if we don’t bring anybody in, I imagine it’s more to do with the right players being available, whether they arebetter than what we have given Richarlison can play CF in this system.

I really admire your faith in Simms mate, im at the point now where i might just have blind faith in it.

Most players will be able to assess realistically their chance of breaking into the first XI and most strikers we could entice will also see DCL's form and worry that they won't be playing. It is the same problem Spurs have had with finding Kane backups.

So frustrating how we need just a decent back up keeper like Romero & another forward yet we'll end up with some dosser who's no better than Lossl and stick with Tosun who is absolutely pants.

Same bloke who was subbed on and off the field by Dunc for being as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

Currently a 2 week International break and another 1 in November.

So 3 weeks of football till the window opens again.
