I think Koeman should/will be assessing his existing players before making any signings.

With that, another calling for some patience.

The window opened a week a go, sales could also dictate our targets. For the first time in many years, I trust the club to do well this summer.

Last season if we lost Rom then yeah sure there's a good chance we would have gone down, but if we're well rounded enough in other areas this season I don't see it as being as much of a danger. Haller has a great goal scoring record and has a good head on him, something we've missed since Cahill. I do think we could do better as a back up striker, but I wouldn't be gutted with Haller to be honest, not like we're going to buy a goal a game striker to play second fiddle to Rom.

All the top teams have options up front. We don't and Haller, whoever he is, would be a laughable choice if he is Koeman's plan as #2.

We don't spent a huge fee on what could be a load of crock and city don't have to hold onto an unhappy player

Agreed, I'd prefer bony hands down, possibly in a cash + bony deal for stones, which I think is inevitable. Still, would be a great 6m investment, even if he only does play cup games this season. I think the real focus should be on a world class defender. Horrible feeling jags isn't going to last the season.

Which is why IMO we should do everything to keep Stones never mind taking Bony in PX - NO, NO, NO!
