lol

you don't rate a young Argentine defender who only knows how to play in his home country, and has moved half way across the world and within 2 months been thrown into the first team?

what were you expecting?

I am willing to be proven wrong, and i would be more than happy to be, but what i have seen is he has poor positioning, has a mistake in him & poor distribution.
You could argue against this by saying all this may come eventualy and he is only 10 games into his career at everton, but thats why its an opinion

Its pretty much one person playing football manager on the forum and the odd tit coming along and beliving anything he says.

Either that or it would be a good idea to let go 7 first team players today just to sign one, that has been the running theme so far, sell half the sqaud, sign yarmalenko.

Thats not the worst idea in the world Naismith, Gibson, McGeady, McAleny, Oviedo, Hibbert, Osman.
Theres your 7, id add Kone but that wouldnt happen after his weird year extension after scoring a hat trick

i think he has done OK when you take all things into consideration
Again supporters expecting too much too early

Your options are:

1. Keep quiet until the end of the transfer window and then laugh when everyone else is fuming

2. Post every name you see linked to us, especially if it comes from Twitter, Metro or esteemed football sites with names like Net999 & FarPost

3. Post compilation videos from Youtube, it helps if the footage is old, terrible quality and accompanied by some Icelandic Techno beats.

4. Look up stats on Football Manager and then post about his "aerial ability" or "composure". If you don't have FM, Fifa will have to do but some other posters on here might say you're not serious enough.

5. Post sarcastic comments and hope people find them funny.

I've always found that a combination of 2 & 5 have worked quite well for me but it's all about personal preference really.

Welcome and enjoy your stay!

I've always found that getting heavily involved in option 5, nearly always leads to a thread ban.

So option 6 : fire off a load of WUM's and see how long you can last until the ban hammer falls .

There was another time me and a few others went into the albert dock in the early hours and found a little jarg old boat sitting in the corner, enough for a gang of us to squeeze on to, we were using these logs to row us around it a couple of lads ended up falling in and were too mortal to even stand up nevermind swim, we ended up in a right mess and luckily a few more mates were just following up with us and seen what was going on an we had to drag eachother out
one of the lads ended up shitting himself (literally) this sounds like a scary story which it was but looking back it was fkin hilarious, we still call him shittypants now

Thats not the worst idea in the world Naismith, Gibson, McGeady, McAleny, Oviedo, Hibbert, Osman.

Thing is, Gibson/Naismith/Kone/Hibbert/osman/oviedo all make the team when they are needed. If for example barry is banned, McCarthy and barkley are injured, but we havent got gibson there, who plays? Ovideo covers for left wing which is low wages for two positions, which isnt bad (although squad player at best), Kone can score a goal now and again, naismith is a great finisher and has scored some important golas at times, hibbert is experience even behind the scenes alongside the young players etc

This is the type of impact you would have selling squad players, and who plays the squad role like they do if they are all gone? the kids? Arent they better loaned out playing every week? I would argue only Mcgeady / piennar / Mcaleny (who isnt worth anything really) are the only ones we wouldn't miss at all at the club if they went now. the others, finish thier contracts sure but keep them for the time being.

Obviously naismith is being sold so fair enough if he is gone already.

Obviously players are replaced and youve listed a few who shouldnt be near the first team squad let alone starting eleven.

howard
robles
oviedo
hibbert
gibson
osman
kone
pienaar
Mcaleny
mcgeady
naismith

and possibly Mirallas should be dismissed over the next 2-3 windows.

1 RB

brought in...at least 7 players needed ideally more like 9.

its a very unbalanced squad as it is now low on quality throughout most of the squad...reminds me of when Walter Smith was in charge.

Been statistically are best defender since he came in, and has a better pass % than jags

When you say the kids, without sounding like @Mikey_Fitzgerald, isnt using them as squad players the best way to see if they can progress.
Instead of Hibbert we could have options such as Browning, Holgate, Pennington & even Kenny who all have experience playing first team football.
Same with Oviedo at left back Galloway and Garbutt
Gibson is not even our 4th choice centre mid, so having a ledson/grant/williams/walsh as possibly a 6th choice centre mid instead of some old clogger isnt the worst idea
Cleverley was brought in to replace ossie as the versatile midfielder
I agree that up front and on the wings that Kone, Naismith & Pienaar all need replacing, but then again we need a first choice left mid

yes they might not be good enough but when the first choices are knackered and need a game off, the sqaud players are there to do a job, especially as they are experienced. Once you remove all the experienced players are gone, the club have never bought players en masse before so how do we replace them all?

More to the point, in the scenario where barry is banned, mcCarthy injured, barkley injured, who plays central midfield if we have no osman or gibson, or naismith?
