What would our bench even look like? Robles, lennon, Mori, galloway, browning......any more i can't think of that we currently have?

Not sure why you are ignoring the fact that new players would be signed...need at least 3 for the first 11 and 4 squad players as it is.

Well, if you add up all those players i listed then thats an enormous amount of wages saved already...

transfer fees could be about £20mil.

Lets say we sign Tarashaj for £3mil, then go for Byram and Dembele whose contracts are up in the summer-- call it £10mil for those two = £13mil spent on 3 players to fill 3 squad positions.

Then we have the £50mil additional income this season for another 4-6 players....with a huge amount of wage budget left.

Despite never spending that amount of money ever, and never signing that amount of players?

More to the point, do you think Byram would sign and dembele knowing they are going to struggle to make the first team? Why would byram sign as understudy to coleman when he could go elsewhere and be first team?

In fact how many players would jump to sign for us as squad players?

again, why would players sign solely to be squad players? Well any player of quality to make the team? Hell even Mori probably only came because he knew he would get game time compared to Browning! Galloway wouldnt have much game time if Baines was fit, or garbutt wasn't loaned out before baines aggrivated the injury.

why make our team any weaker, i agree its no good having to many players in one position, e.g mcgeady, pienaar but why get rid of Naismith if we arent replacing him, not being linked with anyone yet seems at least 4 will leave surely will only make us weaker, dont care what knowone says naismith is great to come of the bench, at least try sign a good goalkeeper with the money neither are good enough

We may well lose many of the players named above. I think Tim Howard will also move on in the summer and I think there will be a major sale as well, probably Stones.Next season we will probably see two or three extra players quality come in and the academy players will then fill out the squad, Ledson, Dowell, maybe Henen, Kenny, maybe Rodriques, maybe the Swiss lad that we appear to be signing.

theres 11 plahers already so clearly alot of action going to happen...and we have never had £50mil in increased revenue or this turnover of players in one summer so of course its a first....same for alot of other clubs.

also of course byram and dembele would want to sign, they will each feel they will get game time...every player needs to earn a place in the team or wait for an injury or suspension....just like Mori.

Name 7 players who we can sign who will be happy to

A) sit on the bench/not play at all
B) Cost very little
C) be good enough to make the team (if some of your named ones aren't)
d) be low enough wages combined
e) Be happy to not get first team football elsewhere

So we are now signing 11 players?! Consiudering the summer just gone we got-
4 million player, free player, overpaid for back up defender and academy player only.

the year before?

cheap besic, free barry, spent money on lukaku (which was installments anyway) and academy player.

Year before that?!

free alcaraz, cheap kone, cheap robles, loan 2 players and only spent half of the fellaini money on mccarthy.



and you think we are going to sign upwards of 11 players? Or think getting rid of 11 players is a good idea?!

I'm quite confident Martinez would have his own signings in mind but it looks like Tarashaj is coming in + Byram is heavily linked and Dembele has been scouted extensively.

Sounds like you dont want anyone to leave, but there will be alot of players moving on...thats clear.

Heres some quesions for you:

1-- Do you think BOTH howard and robles will stay past the summer? If not thats at least one player.

2-- Do you think ALL 5 players out of contract in the summer will stay? Again need replacements.

3-- Do you think mcgeady,mcaleny,naismith will stay? Again replacements

4-- Do you think mirallas will stay? Replacements

5-- Do you think we need at least one left winger?

6-- Do you think we need competition for coleman and lukaku?

7-- Do you think with all these possible departures we need another centre mid?

All roads lead to alot of activity.
