Anyone whos played the game knows that they change some attributes about in players to add a hidden gem element, while throw in a few duds who are potentialy good, if we have the actual data base we coudl pick up a few gems!

So the two brothers are blues, surely theyve made a tidy sum form football manager! Come on lads take us over!
 

Why do Atalanta have the best youth system in the world. A couple of versions back for me they produced three 16 year olds with about ten 20s each, in something like 2012. Atalanta, what a place.

Good for them, good for us. they get some tickets or a box, we get an affiliation on their game. god knows how much adidas and whoever else has to pay to get creditted.
 
Thiago is meant to be a wonderkid at the start, he doesn't progress much though.

So i hope we dont go after him.

Would we all be willing to wait 2-3 years to be able to challenge for cups and the league, or continue as we are searching for a sugar daddy that is not coming???
 
This is so unrealistic. Just grab a copy of the lastest version of FM. Run thru the entire youth squad of Arsenal, make a comparison to the team that wenger choose in their last carling cup fixture. You will either find some missing names or some ridiculous stats that does not fully represents their abilities. That's FM scouting for you as far as I'm concern.

Thing is though, for all you know the potential stats (hidden) could be very high, which would make them play better anyway than say, other youth teams.
 
All the stats in the game are distorted to make the game more intresting but i think in order for the game to distort them they need the true stats oif each player which is what i beleive we have access too. Moyes is no fool.

A great innovation and oppurtunity, like having thousads of scouts IMO.
 
The problem is, we have to scout talent from the youth team all around the world. Given the current setup of FM, the youth database is quite shallow to make any good use of. One example is Fellaini, I'm sure you can't find his name anywhere in the game if you look him up in FM a couple of years back when he's 17 or 18 years old and could have cost less than 3 million. Same goes with a lot of other young players. Of cos we can benefit from getting to know a lot more players thru FM, but to benefit and be as successful as arsenal where they produce players without spending millions is too much to hope for.

I got loads of players for Davey to look at.

Diego Capel LM 12m
Oscar AMC 3m Amazing player
Henri Saviet 2m ST
Camacho CM 10m
Sakho CB 5m
Davide Santon RB 5m
Pjanic RM ST 12m Quality

All these players are 20 or under and all have amazing potential, sign em up Davey.

But if he wanted some1 a bit older he should look no further than Angelo Palombo, 26, amazing stats for a DM/CM and would cost about 14m. The club should give me a job scouting all these players, i would find us the next Messi.
