I don't think Godfrey looks very good at right-back either, though.

When he plays 'left-back', he pretty much plays tucked in really narrow anyway as like an extra CB.

I'm not sure that we're aiming to play that high up, but honestly I'm not sure about anything that we're trying to do because the best I can tell we have no direction whatsoever.

My take is the CB position is the one where we have decent players and decent depth so I would leave it as is this summer as basically every other spot doesn't have one of those two things. Some don't have either.

The weirdest thing to me is that they targetted it a couple times from a bunch of reports but when they had their first couple choices kicked back they just said "meh" and moved on for some reason. From what I recall in primary school, ignoring the problem always works!

I like him but prefer David Brooks just a shame he doesn’t seem to be able to stay fit. Brooks seems to have more end product and offers genuine goal threat.

I'm still a very big fan of Buendia. He had a goal, assist and won a penalty at the weekend. 8 goals, 8 assists on the year now which is enough production to think he can be a good PL player too.

His one year in the EPL though.. his stats were pants.
