And then didn't spend a penny.
Some thing really doesn't add up there .

At the same time if we had paid 40m for Diaz, 15m for Patterson and 10m for Jebbison like was being asked we'd not understand how to negotiate. Sometimes we can't win.

If Patterson was our right back target then he should have been prioritised. As you say, spending nothing at all doesnt add up. Unless we've just completely cocked up everything

I don’t think he was worth the valuation Rangers put him at, £5m was a decent offer, so was £8m, anything above that though?

Not the right players available that we can afford and Benitez is happy to go with what he has got. Imo sensible move by Everton.
