You do realise this isn't a negotiation right? lol
I just don't think you'll get 40mil for him whoever gets him, just an opinion
Everton, Arsenal, Villa, Wolves and Newcastle are all interested in Zinchenko which means he'll not be going to any of those clubs for 20-25M, especially if Newcastle flex their financial muscles.

In this day and age 40M for a player of his quality is a fair price. 20M? No chançe pal.

Nobody is paying 40m mate. I doubt anybody goes to 20m.

Well we wont anyway. Haaland has just gone for 51m or whatever. Zinchenko is not going for 40m, especially with his injury record. I like him, but suspect if City are looking to move him on, we would probably look at 10m-15m.

City are offering him out mate. I've no idea how much each of those sides are interested.

I like the player, but cant see a world where we have circa our club record fee to spend on him.

What's the feeling with younger players and loans mate? Cole Palmer in particular.

Zinchenko excels in a team with possession. His defensive play is awful, cost them the CL final against Chelsea being outside of his man and a couple of goals against Madrid with the same thing.
No, Guardiola cost us the CL final against Chelsea by overthinking it. The game was primed for Fernandinho as DM but Pep had a brainwave and played Gundogan there when he should have played centre mid. Also Sterling shouldn't have because he was well out of form and low and confidence. Every City fan i know and spoke to said the same when they saw the team sheet. Even Chelsea fans couldn't believe why Pep chose that starting 11.

That's true. Playing no CDM against Chelsea was suicide, and they waltzed through the City midfield. Terrible management from Guardiola. I'm not quite sure what he thought he was doing.

What Injury record? He's hardly ever injured. 10-15M? You're having a ? pal?

Just want to add a correction here as people seem to not know: Haaland was a release clause not a true transfer value.

….I honestly can’t see Everton investing in him. After purchasing a LB recently and with limited spend, then prioritisation will be elsewhere.

I’ve always seen LB as a problem position for City, even with Zinchenko. I actually wondered if they might be interested in Digne when his stock was at his highest.

As for Zinchenko, City are offering him to clubs they think might be interested. The market will determine his worth, I expect his price will be circa £20m-£25m.

We need City to win CL/PL next season.

This summer is probably the biggest transfer window in a long long time for us.

We almost got relegated with this group of players, how do we improve that while possibly selling one or two of our best players?!

I worry about who we bring to replace a Richarlison or DCL. Young hungry players are great but you cannot rely on too many like that without premier league experience.

Think you need to revisit Franks comments reference how we played when he come in

Tried to 'enjoy the ball' but realized that the team 'had no idea what to do with the ball' and changed his preferred tactics to suit what he needed at that particular time

You have no idea how he is going to line up next season until we have new players coming in, to suit that system

Wait and see!
This is actually the exciting part

We're lucky, that with a few exceptions, we couldn't really care at the moment who leaves the current squad; which is why the make up of any future incomings is so interesting.

I want to see the kind of team Frank wants to build

I'm not so sure he's even up for sale. He still has 2 years left on his contract and his happy at the club so he doesn't have to go anywhere he doesn't want to, and I doubt he will want to tbh.

Zinchenko wouldn't go for as much as Sigurdsson but i very much doubt you'll pick him up as cheaply as what the media are saying. Besides, we should hold firm like you did when selling us Lescott and Stones. Sorry i meant held us over a barrel and extracted every last penny you could from us?

Good question on younger players. Cole Palmer will probably be given more game time next season at the expense of Mahrez and Sterling, that's if Sterling is still with us. Another exciting young un is James McAtee who's a midfielder who should get early cup round minutes and cameo league appearances when a games is won. We have another half a dozen really promising academy players around right now who need game time.

If Kompany goes to Burnley i reckon he'll be allowed to take 2 or 3 on loan, and CB Harwood-Bellis will most likely be one of them.

Before we got to the Emirates on the final day, as a group we had a discussion and the general consensus was...

'The only reason the RS will win this is if Pep decides to do his usual and choose a barmy team.' You could choose a brilliant XI, but he decides to tinker away.

Taking KDB off against Madrid was farcical decision that cost you greatly. Anyway, if you'd buy Branthwaite for say £80m plus a player we'd all be very happy.*

*This is a fantasy, of course.

I doubt we're offering him to anyone pal, like i said to another poster. We need a specialist LB signed first who we'll need cover for. The only way I can see Zinko leaving is it Pep promotes one of the academy, or possibly use Ake as cover.
Some of you have correctly poined out Zinko's minor LB flaws but his vision, passing and link up play are excellent. And he never goes hiding in games.
