Defoe short term is a no brainer for me - one chance one goal player. Werner or Andrea bellotti in the summer or now as well please.

But we will create zero chances for him so zero goals.

We will need someone who can create something himself I reckon.

I'm getting to the stage that I will accept any new striker just to try something different. Defoe as an impact sub alongside Tosun might not be the worst partnership.

Here's another solution. Play 2 up top. DCL and Richarlison could work with DCL having the job of occupy the centre backs and win everything, with Richarlison having more license to float in order to cause damage. Not ideal but it is, for now, another solution. I would like to see us try 442 on Saturday

Then we have to drop Sigurdsson or play him deep where he doesnt look good at all.

We create plenty. I do agree that role requires someone who can make his own chances too though.

I don't really think we do, we get in good positions and then make some awful decisions or final balls. We never seem to hit players in their stride which annoys me greatly and slows our play right down.

yea but we get into good opportunities then fanny about with the ball, instead of hitting it straight at the goal, we give defenders the chance to see what we are going to do !
