Thought it worked very well when he switched positions with Rooney. Might be even better just playing the two of them up top together. Let Klassen drop deeper and keep it tidy, although this system'd need Davies instead of Gana for his attacking impetus getting forward from midfield..

Some of his runs were great. There was one point were either Keane or Holgate found him with a long-ranger, took it down well and turned it into Rooney who couldn't get a shot off. That was a move that showed off his quality.
