Source isn't exactly solid but would not be a surprise at all if he is on 100k a week. The fees being banded around this summer mean we've got at least a £10m discount on him to the release clause.

he probably knows hes a 20mil player worth 70k a week, so wouldn't surprise me if to get him, we have gone "heres 100k and quite possibly a multiple million signing on fee", especially if we didn't want a clause in ourselves
