Eh, we've seen where it leads.

Your lot got him in and now you're sat with Chris Coleman as manager, looking to stay in the Championship and avoid back to back relegations.

Bolton died. Blackburn died. Newcastle went down. West Ham are about to die. The long-term implications outweigh the short-term gain.
I’m not buzzing for this appointment but I think it’s harsh to blame him for the demise of other clubs.

Bolton went down because they replaced him with Gary Megson and then Owen Coyle, Blackburn replaced him with Steve Kean and he left West Ham years ago. Bilic was there for nearly two and a half years. He had time to assemble his own crap squad.

Really worried by this. To all those convinced that Sam will enable us to survive because no club he's managed has been relegated on his watch: It's by no means nailed on that he'll do the same with us. BFS does not necessarily equal survival.

It’s not so much that it’s Allardyce. It’s what he represents. His appointment means that Everton’s plans last summer failed abysmally, it means we couldn’t attract any other manager, it means that Moshiri has no clue what he’s doing, it means there’s no strategy at the club other than Bill and Suntan Bob’s avoid relegation at any price then sit back and do nothing. It means that the good parts of Moyes and Martinez’s work: the academy that produced Barkley Davies Dowell, the recruitment system that unearthed John Stones and Holgate will now all go to ruin as we look to play percentages and stay in the league. It means that any player of any ambition knows we’re a charlatan club who can’t be trusted when we approach them to sign.

Stadium work aside (and it’s a watching brief on that). We’ve been had by a most unholy partnership of ineptitude between Kenwright and Moshiri. To end up being in the position with the squad we now have necessitating the hiring of Sam Allardyce is nothing short of gross negligence.

Without too much hard work we could have been presiding over a young team of top British talent Barkley Davies Dowell Lookman Stones Holgate and s hungey young top striker brought in with the Lukaku money, all playing under a progressive attacking manager showcase on European competition.

Instead we have cancerous mercenary warts infested throughout the club from Koeman to Schneiderlin, Walsh to Williams, top to bottom everyone is here only for a slice of some dollar coin.

We deserve so much better. They have taken one of the finest institutions in the game and played monopoly with it. We’ve put up with embarrassment after embarrassment and then they go and hire Sam Allardyce. F off Everton you arseholes.

You're falling for the spin mate. 26 points from 21 games at Palace, 31 points from 30 at Sunderland. These aren't the figures of a man who is a dead cert to keep a team up, they're what you'd expect any idiot to be able to do. Even Unsworth is going at a point a game and he's the most clueless manager I've ever had the misfortune to see.

Exactly this. People assume he’s a miracle worker, he’s at these clubs for well over half a season and scrapes survival.

His luck will end soon.

Wow. A relegation battle with Sam Allerdyce. How the [Poor language removed] did we balls things up this bad
Its Everton,do the impossible lol,we have gone from thinking top 7 ish [thought 7th myself, 6th at most],thinking we would do well to going down hill so fast-hopefully he bring fight in our players, something they cant be bothered with showing.

And that's it in a nutshell. What do we do if no one else wants to join us? Remain manager-less?
