Yep it was very good, no arguments. But this years doesn't look too bad.

It all hinges on the teams we are playing in the UK. I'm more disappointed there is no away game in Europe. Especially given we aren't in the Europa league.

Yeh I'd have thought we'd have gone to Austria for the training camp again. Those mountain runs were Moyes' holy grail.

It's crap, last seasons was worse than crap. The season before that was excellent.

So what do you suggest would be better then?

Bear in mind we finished 11th last season and the likes of Real Madrid & Barcelona wouldn't exactly be clamouring to play us pre-season.

Pre-season will give us the chance to laugh at Robles trying to con everyone he is a keeper.

He also improved greatly, especially vs West Ham in the cup, and never should have lost his place back to Howard.

Any decent Spanish or German team apart from the huge 3 sides. We don't ask for much.

So when we return from Scotland, we have 1 more friendly? Is that including the Goodison game or not?

We're playing at least one game against Prem opposition in Stokelona, and I'm guessing the game at Goodison will be a decent foreign team. I've seen Leeds is looking likely to be that first game (?), and then I'd imagine we'll have one game against an SPL team up in Scotland and the behind-closed-doors games will be against dross, but will be good for match sharpness.

Also heard why we are never in anything good because elstone demands a million quid for us to enter. Heard that the trip to chile next pre season could be called off because we aren't being paid if we go don't know how true that is. Just what was said at the weekend
