Everton embroiled in bitter contract dispute with Ronald Koeman and Netherlands

Nothing in this at all, only issue is whether the wage from the Dutch FA is of a level that would be deemed suitable for the whole. Hard to prove otherwise tbh

It still baffles the hell out of me that you can get paid off for being sacked , for under-performing and not hitting your kpi's. If most folk in a job get sacked they get the remaining holiday pay and a p45, football is really dumb and these guys don't even need the money like normal people would they're greedy bassssrs to a man.

To quote Koeman "But that is football" it is not our club being crap thats just how football is, we all
thought Koeman would move us up. he didn't and had to go and they all have great contracts that
protect them if they get sacked. if we don't offer them a great contract then they won't come and another club will snap them up, same goes with players

I remember seeing Brenda Rodgers after he had been sacked, (I used to cut his hair) and I was worried
what I would say to him after all he had been plastered all over the back of the papers being sacked a couple of weeks before. when I seen him he was the most relaxed I have ever seen him, I said to him ur seem very calm and he said thats football and he plans to be a manager for the next 10-15 years and will happen maybe 3 or 4 times but his contract was very well protected.

thats just how it is

So Martinez had us off and then Koeman and were still paying him, thing is some think Sam is getting sacked in the summer, if we do that we will have to pay him as well, then get another manager, which will mean we are paying three managers at once?
For me this is another reason why Sam is going nowhere in the summer.
The whole thing is insane, easily the worst run club in the Premier League

This is Elstone’s handiwork. What class of a clown signs off on contracts like this?
The club will learn eventually, but it will be learning the hard way quite clearly.
