yeah mate, so smart at transfers you couldn't work out we needed a striker
Maybe we didnt have 80m for a new striker?

i would have taken vardy, even if only for 2 seasons as a stop gap. He wouldnt of cost 80mMaybe we didnt have 80m for a new striker?
better then tosun/niasse/DCL will cost 60m?????Can’t blame him for that, I don’t think we can afford a striker in the last window. A top class striker who is better than what we have will cost 60m or more.

he also missed moutinho for sale at 5m. I thought these were the type of transfers he was bought in to do.I clearly missed Vardy being for sale, my bad.

Idiot should have sold Lookman and brought Lozano and Batshuyai in...
Its not even that, theres no fluidity in defense, midfield or attack. Walcott and richarlison are the glue on the sides holding the team from totally collapsing.Yes, I expect us to bring in a striker capable of more than 20 goals. Not some half decent for 30m HOPING he will somehow stumble 10goals.
He seems to be getting an easy ride here considering three of his primary signings basically haven't yet been fit enough to influence the season and (as a partial result) it's now pretty much over for us.
Not calling for his head or anything, just think there's a case for saying that money could have been more effectively deployed
