worst possible time to play Leicester away, their fans will be well up for it. Also the worst time to play Arsenal as they always race out of the blocks. Having both those games in the second half of the season would have suited us much better

They lost at home to a dismal Villa side on the opening day last season

Apart from Tottenham, and again arsenal were at home to them there fixtures were easy. Were a diffrent team and at goodison more so.

after a little thought i think thats a great fixture list.

the start looks tough ... but ... if we lose em , then atleast we have tough games out the way and things can only improve.
if we win them , then me have great momentum , will be ahead of our rivals and have easier games to come.
as for the euro fixture coming between liverpool and utd , well if i had a build up of games like that , id rather have it early in the season when we have a fresh squad , a full squad and perhaps new signings.
in fact with liverpool, man utd , chelsea and arsenal out the way early , it will be good for tired legs as a busy season goes on.

the biggest plus is that the squad will now know they have to hit the floor running from day 1. there focus will be switched on from the start. potential to be a great great season.

dont matter who you play and when to be honest, your either up for it and good enough or your not :) altho the first derby being at anfield for once is good, we might get a rearrarnged night fixture versus the shoite at goodison
