That was a tough watch today. We just didnt match them anywhere on the pitch.

Had a nightmare getting there as well, and had it not be for a certain Evertonian, me and my Dad would have missed out on it all.

Trains cancelled all over the show so went to another line, couldn't get on that train as it was packed. A fellow blue piped up, yous going the game? Jump in my van, I'll drive there. No questions asked, would take nothing in return, just pure kindness. Good people deserve good things and I hope he and his family get them.

Cheers lad, appreciate it.
The only good part of the game today then hahah, well in the lad

Brentford and ourselves once had maupay

They went maupay to Watkins to Toney to Wissa to Thiago for a total cost of about 50 million

We've had went from maupay to Chermiti, beto and barry at a total cost of 67 million

I'm not even going to think about the resale values

A club who 10 years ago played in a stadium suited to league 2 with a fan base that can't sell out their allocation absolutely wiping the floor with us in terms of scouting and resale

Bad day at the office. What annoys me most is that everytime we are in a situation where a win would really put us in a good position, we fail to produce. A win today would have taken us to a joined fifth spot. Now we are back to twelfth.

Credit where credit is due, Brentford played a very good match. They impressed me quite a lot. But our lacklustre performance didn't help.

I said on the previous page the players believe their own publicity after a good result, they then take the P and walk around without a care in the world.

Their attitude stinks.

Just seeing that today and the difference between tiago and the cf we have massive difference. Bullied the cb all day need players this window, had chances to push for europe this season. But jusy dont have the quality
Just back after a day of absolute misery getting to and from the game on the trains….more cancellations and delays than soft mick.
We don’t have the quality it’s true…..and it starts with the manager and his sidekicks. Absolutely abysmal in-game management. He only went 4-4-2 because we were getting pumped and a good percentage of the team were horrendous. He’s a reactive manager. It’s where we’re at. Out-thought and out-manoeuvred by a set-piece coach.
Tiago and Schade gave Tarkowski and Keane a nightmare all game.
All that talk of pushing for Europe…..

Packed train at Manchester Victoria? We were lucky enough to get on it after having two earlier ones cancelled….wished we’d missed out and just gone for a few beers instead.

Perhaps this is just my perspective, yet I was convinced that there was a push on Pickford in the build-up to the Brentford corner from which Nathan Collins scored. I know that counts for little now but had the goal been disallowed the score would have remained 1 - 0 to Brentford and we would have still had a chance of salvaging something from the game.

Pickford has a habit of pushing the player away whereas other keepers throw themselves to the floor and win a foul.

Goals change games- we had chances to take the lead early on McNeil/Tarkowski and iirc Iroegbunum should've done better.
Not sure why Tarkowski is trying to thread balls in the position he was.
Once again we've been undone at a corner
3rd & 4th defence were in disarray after poor play further up.
I felt it coming as we got away with at Forest as they had no one like Thiago to capitalise and we struggle when we're expected to make the running in games. I had predicted elsewhere we'd lose next 3 as well given lack options to vary our play so buckle up boys !
