You can afford to have a couple of players have an off day - but not 10.
Only ones with credit today were Jack, Harrison and Beto. Tim, Tyler, Dwight had nightmares.
Pickford left exposed too often. Goals from corners are sickening to concede - especially near post headers.
Just not good enough. We need KDH back asap. Midfield was totally bossed by Bees. And as for Thiago against Keane and Tarky...just rubbish.

A few things:

Dont make smart ass team changes when there isnt the need.

No team can play walking football. There needs to be a basic level of urgency.

A professional shouldnt take three touches (stop the ball [look to where you are passing it to], control the ball, pass the ball [ball gets intercepted]).

Take responsibilty, not like Tarky did passing it ten yards to our player who had a player on either side of him who then get the ball.

Players shouldnt be told who are running the show (Brentfords number 8 and 24), those two needed their ankles rattled together early on.

Lastly, no professional team should believe their own good publicity after a fine result. Doing so shows their attitude stinks to high heaven.

I think Brentford were very smart in how they deployed Thiago and looked to split Tarkowski and Keane with balls over the top or through, rather than having him go up against them in the air every time.

Just back from the game. I had a weird feeling just watching the warm ups. They looked so sharp and even went into a team huddle and looked right up for it. Despite that and the nightmare with the siren before z cars we should have gone ahead but the whole place felt flat today - maybe we all took Brentford for granted and they made us pay for it.

Anyway we are ahead of where I thought we would be and think a few players of quality coming in will make the world of difference and provide a bit of a lift.

Beto looked really fired up and took his goal really well.

If players are not going to wear shin pads please don’t jump out of challenges.

No donuts at half time was very disappointing.

We go again.

The scoreline flattered us. That was painful to watch. Way too much reliance on getting the ball to Grealish which is becoming very predictable for the opposition. Defensively all over the place and lacking pace. Any side that rocks up to HD with runners will likely beat us.

Have had enough of this lot. They are now where they should be. On the naughty step!
