Can anybody explain to me why we wasted so much money buying Dibling, Barry, King, the young LB (cant remember his name)and I think we still have to pay for ROHL at the end of the season. Time to move on Moyes..

Because apparently the Friedkin Group have a 5 year plan whereby the club purchase and develop young talent and become self sustainable financially. This was told to Joyce and Boyland and in the 1 year on articles. Problem is they are not giving any indication of recruiting badly needed proper footballers for a squad that was run into the ground from previous mismanagement.

Thought Brentford were extremely well-drilled in passing their way through a high press and you'd think it is not a hard thing to organise with having the keeper extra and a midfielder dropping in if necessary. And, if you do get into any bother, you launch it into the centre circle where one or two of your players will be standing completely unmarked. We looked clueless against it.

Typical Everton. Done it for years, when there's a chance to go 5th, go 4th, whatever it may be when we have a chance to do something,we always seem to bottle it. And no matter how many times it happens, I still get my hopes up and still get so annoyed when we ultimately cock it up like today.

Their No9 threw a late arial challenge in early, not even looking at the ball and Taylor let it go. That set the tone and they spotted ut and used it to their advantage. We need to get tougher and smarter.

Armstrong was doing Tarkowskis job with 5 minutes to go by getting inthe refs ear about things he was getting wrong.

It's because losing is always accepted at this club. No one wants to win enough and there's not enough urgency to get better.
