Alright, you got me Columbo. Was just making a whimsical quip, like.'Above' is 'in with' in your world?

Collins wasn't even marked on that corner or somebody abandoned him very early.…..big concern is another conceded from a corner.
Because apparently the Friedkin Group have a 5 year plan whereby the club purchase and develop young talent and become self sustainable financially. This was told to Joyce and Boyland and in the 1 year on articles. Problem is they are not giving any indication of recruiting badly needed proper footballers for a squad that was run into the ground from previous mismanagement. Can anybody explain to me why we wasted so much money buying Dibling, Barry, King, the young LB (cant remember his name)and I think we still have to pay for ROHL at the end of the season. Time to move on Moyes..

Watched it again.…I only seen it live but it seemed to travel too far, was just waiting for DCL equivalent to head it clear at the near post.
Big concern, especially given the height we have in the team.
It was all very amateurish.Atmosphere was very flat today. Felt like an off day for everyone... Fans and players. Even the stadium team messed up by playing the sirens way too early so we had them on loop for what felt like an age.
And the reborn operation goodison exercise felt farcical
It happens all the time, late stages of cup comps, the club just seems mentally weak, the quarter final cup game v wigan springs to mind as an example.Typical Everton. Done it for years, when there's a chance to go 5th, go 4th, whatever it may be when we have a chance to do something,we always seem to bottle it. And no matter how many times it happens, I still get my hopes up and still get so annoyed when we ultimately cock it up like today.
As my rage slowly subsides, how was there only 4mins of stoppage time at the end of that game. Hickey spent about 3mins alone fondling his socks FFS![]()
This is something we never do. Watch all other teams do it against us….We werent great, but Inthought the only worse performance than us was Anthony Taylor. He was completely bossed by the Brentford players.
Their No9 threw a late arial challenge in early, not even looking at the ball and Taylor let it go. That set the tone and they spotted ut and used it to their advantage. We need to get tougher and smarter.
Armstrong was doing Tarkowskis job with 5 minutes to go by getting inthe refs ear about things he was getting wrong.
More like bashed you over the head than touched today really. And so the conversion begins. Surrender to it; resistance is futile. Once Everton has touched you....
It's because losing is always accepted at this club. No one wants to win enough and there's not enough urgency to get better. It happens all the time, late stages of cup comps, the club just seems mentally weak, the quarter final cup game v wigan springs to mind as an example.
