It’s why we’ll unfortunately never win a league again. If every single game for 38 games the refs are looking for a reason to deny you anything and there’s teams who have every I for decision going their way you’re not going to win anything no matter how good you are.
And we say nothing about it.

Nobody speaks up for the club.

THIS is what the Friedkins have to change. Moyes is thinking he's doing a great job getting us safe and rehabilitating his reputation. We'll need more than that after a summer or two of proper spending...

I could be wrong, but to me it looked like Moyes was looking to put United away early. They are a fragile bunch with very little confidence. We had a very nice press going and United looked very shaky. It paid off and we were up 2-0. Moyes got it right but he bottled the 2nd half. The players were gassed and that was evident right at the start of the 2nd half. I think if he could have that back, he would but hindsight is 20/20. It feels like a loss but given how much this team has improved under Moyes is astounding achievement. Put this one behind us and get something from Brentford.

Moves definitely thinking 'what's the point' there.

I wish he'd gone scorched earth on the absolute corruption on clear display there, but he already knows it would have cost him and the club without changing a damn thing.

Let’s have it right, they have also scored from a free kick that was moved forward ten yards because a handball was given when a player has jumped and isn’t even facing the ball. Surely should have been re taken? Crazy.

Its getting that way where VAR scrutinises almost every goalmouth incident forensically yet the referee, crowd and hundreds of thousands of people lying on the couch in front of the telly saw the shirt pull was first. You may as well have no referee there.

We need sarnies and a flask of tea while we wait for our decisions cos two blokes miles away umm and aah over camera angles instead of stating the bleedin' obvious.

I don't know why a dive is needed for a shirt pull. It's a weird one. Did the ref give it because of the shirt pull or the dive?
The dive is needed because unless you go down the ref won’t notice the foul. I remember the Hibbert Gerrard pen when Gerrard legs gave way due to a slight pull and the pen Fellaini gave away against City from a corner.

VAR is a real.problem in the game, not just sour grapes as yet again a red team get huge benefit from it but because it kills the passion and spontaneity.

Feels like no goal is a goal until at least a minute or two has passed to be sure VAR won't have a say.

Football is entertainment not business (contrary to everything the accountants would have us believe). They've killed the ability to celebrate a goal, it's really really sad.

There's absolutely no Ifs, buts or maybes here. It was either a pen (it absolutely was) or Young should've been booked for diving. One or the other. No excuses, the ref either don't know what he's doing and isn't up to the job or he's an outright cheat. I know what I've got my money on.
You have to be a cheat or have no morals at all to be be employed by the PL I guess

Agree mate there but Young should maybe have just stopped dead and got in the refs face, along with the other 10 players as other teams do to force a VAR check. It was shirt pull and VAR then maybe give it. Weird one that.
They have 4 guys round the ref constantly and I hate it too… bet it influences var.

Don’t know why we’re not at them telling them to eff off trying to influence/officiate the game.
