Well we had the options we needed on the bench and we just didn't use them. Midfield is probably the only place where we have more options anyway.

As I said don't disagree with the subs issue, but in a whole as a squad we are down to our bare bones. Realistically only Young, Iroegbunam and Alcaraz on there capable of making an impact. Probably Keane if we're still 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go.

Point I'm trying to make is that we have to make do with 15-16 players for the last few weeks. Will take it's toll imo.

The whole system of officiating is an open door to corruption. VAR is the epitome of that.

All the yellows given to us took the sting out of our game second half.

Agree about the subs.

In the end though, you can't help but sense that our affluent opponents were helped by biased officials.

This. That period in the 2nd half. Yellows to us. No yellows to them. Every decision went to them for 15 minutes. Changed the flow and momentum in their favour.

Shouldn’t have needed a 93rd pen to win that game. But VAR made sure that wouldn’t happen anyway.

When Fernandez turned it on he was top class wasn’t he. As a team they a rubbish but he was untouchable from the free kick onwards.

That’s very poor from Moyes on the penalty decision…he should have been so much more critical when he had the opportunity.
He bottled it and that’s so disappointing.
