I don't think either of Stirling's challenges were likely to have caused any injury. He doesn't seem to know how to tackle. Neither was at an especially contentious moment. They were both fouls, seen both given as yellows but if it had been one of ours I would have felt it was 2 soft fouls and a harsh sending off.

That's not the criteria for a booking. Both were cynical challenges to disrupt play. Two very clear yellows - he got very very lucky.

The only issue i have one here is you discussing a rumour on Twitter

More disgraceful though is the rumours of vile chanting about the ninety-six victims of the Hillsborough disaster. I hope this isn't true.
If it is, there's only one thing to say:
Anyone who did it is not an Everton fan. As far as I'm concerned, they're not even human.
Find them, shame them, and ban them

What the point in this, you could be spreading lies, dont believe everything on Twitter.

I don't know if they're true or not mate. I emphasised that they were rumours. Trust me, I'm not trying to land our fans in it. Last thing I want to do is that. In fact, I've edited it again to MAKE SURE people realise they're rumours.

How anyone falls for that lying shite I dont know. The Kopites couldn't lie straight in bed. The bent [Poor language removed].

It was probably about Heysel or Suarez...both of which are the truth of the matter essentially.

Think before the match some of us got a bit carried away tbh. Regarding Liverpool- they had a mare of a fixture list to start the season. I think we will finish above them but it was never going to be an easy match.

After the Southampton match we were right to be confident going into the derby. At 3-1 up before half time, we were playing some of the best stuff seen by the boys in blue. Since then we have drawn with 2 relegation candidates and looked disjointed in both matches. In addition to the definite loss of form, we have lost key key players. Gibson has been a massive miss. Add to that Piennar's suspension, Fellaini coming back from injury and Mirallas going off at half time and it was clear we had an uphill struggle. Seeing Neville in midfield constantly for the past month dropping bollocks and Moyes's inability to respond to it screams a lack of real depth.

Sterling was clearly sh*tting himself a lot...bad passes, cr*p tackles and missed a golden chip by a wide margin. Not a bad little player but he should not have been in there from the off, IMHO. At that age, Wayne is probably the last youngster I've seen that I'd have started in that type of match. He was way more composed, in general, at that age.

It's not really about seeing the game differently mate, it's the laws of the game. He's taken out the legs to prevent an attack in a careless or cynical manner.

The only reason he got away with it was because it was not long after his first yellow.

Hes right in a way, I mean, would you give a yellow card for it? Some of the bullcrap that people get yellow cards for these days is a complete joke.

But yes, given the rules, as they laughingly stand these days, he should have got at least 3 yellows.

God no. But then Osman wasn't a yellow either and Suarez was two straight reds all day.

The system is broken by bad referees all round, but by the set of rules he should have gone.

Mirallas was majestic in the first half. Such a shame he picked up that injured... typical.

He didn't pick up an injury mate. He was cynically taken out by Rat Boy.

Still can't believe they ended with eleven on the field. Typical gutless referee on their side. Coates - how on earth he escaped without even as much as a talking to was unbelievable. Suarez was a straight red in most people's book, Suso somehow was allowed to kick the ball away without even getting a warning, and Sterling had to go for that challenge when already on a booking. Shocking, but unsurprising.

Apparently left Goodison on crutches and medics fear a broken metatarsal. So the player who inflicted that injury never even got a yellow card for it, brilliant that.

Can't deny their youngsters are talented, but I thought they got found out today in their first real challenge.

Raheem Sterling was off his game; in fact, Leighton Baines schooled him so thoroughly early on that Brendan Rodgers made him switch flanks. Andre Wisdom and Suso went completely missing; Suso had to go off, and I think Wisdom is still looking over his shoulder for Kevin Mirallas, he was outclassed by him in the first half.
