Played all the way through dominating from start to finish, working against the low block really well, not a thing this team is known for, and left little to chance up the other end, cept the chance at the end for Pickford to join in the party.
Great to see em move the ball around the way they did, positive from backs and mids without giving it away.
The difference when it doesn't breakdown through Gana, Myko and McNel, when the level is upped, is huge. Great to see.

Pleased for McNeil putting in a good shift and happy he got a good ovation. He was better than he has been for a long time but still not close to MOTM for me. Tough one for me between Gana and KHD. Both had sloppy passes but they were all over the place. Edging towards KHD mainly because he is always making himself available and his movement is second to none compared to the rest of the team. We have bought a quality player in KHD
Second to none ?

Might only be a minor thing to everyone else but it really annoyed me when dubravka went down after 20 minutes and faked an injury to let his teammates get further instructions from Scott Parker. Because he’s the goalie he doesn’t have to go off the pitch. Something needs to be done about this exploitation of the rules because there was absolutely zero reason for dubravka to go down injured at that point he hadn’t been involved in anything.

Im surprised how many put kdh as motm tonight. Keown on commentary did too. I thought he did well for a small part of the game but also was poor first half. He nearly gave them a goal in the 2nd half too with a lazy pass that went straight to their striker who miscontrolled it.
Forgot to turn the alarm on so I only caught the second half, voted KDH. Match was early in the morn where I'm at.

I said before the game this should have been our easiest points of the season and Moyes needed to show he was capable of turning the ship round at home with regards to results and style.

Far too many posters were giving Burnley too much respect. They were and are crap.

Apart from not converting enough chances and making some poor decisions in front of goal (Gueye dithering, Dewsbury-Hall lashing over numerous times), everything went perfectly from the off. Pickford topped it off with a superb reflex save near the end, but that needn't have happened anyway as too much overtime has already been played by the referee for some reason.

Would like to have seen much more from Mykolenko and O'Brien. Burnley came for a draw and were dominated by us. They didn't look to attack even when losing, and if we had had support from the full backs we could have ended up with a cricket score.

Not getting carried away by this though as it's a team destined for relegation and there will be much harder tests to come, but it's been a fantastic few days for the players, manager and fans.

9/10 night and special mention to Dwight McNeil for coming back into the fold and not looking out of place.
