Howard is costing us points now, he should have done better

Powerful shot from Van Persie - not many keepers would save it. Blame who ever the idiot was who didnt KEEP IT IN THE CORNER.

Also another point...how feckin annoying was the far (Family Enclosure) linesman?! Didnt know what he was doing.

So 2 mins to go, ball is in the opposing half and then the centre half lumps the ball up in hope. No worries the centre half will have done his job by a) marking the centre forward or b ) clear the ball. No Mr Jag decided on c) Let the forward run off the back of you and let him score. Thanks Jag!

I saw Jagielka hesitate - and instantly thought of you posting this!

Jagielka can probably be held partly responsible, aswell as Hibbert for not being there, Osman for losing the ball, Anichebe for not trying to get the ball, or Pienaar for losing the ball so much in the last few minutes....

Partly responsible for letting the striker free in the box in the dying minutes? No fully responsible

Shut up you melt...
OK, he could've done better the last game, but look at the saves that have kept us in games....swings in round a bouts.
As for the goal tonight , he was definitely not at fault for that one...

RANTING TIME

Right, i didnt say it after the derby game, but I will now.

Goal from Gerrard was his fault, no question.

Now, his "great" save shortly after, was actually ridiculous. Okay you can argue he may have seen it late but still. If he doesn't fall on his arse, if he stands big he takes the ball in his midrift and prevents the corner.

I havent seen tonights goal again. But i'm right behind the GS goal, and to me, although it was sweetly struck, it looked like howard sat on his arse again and this time couldnt reach it.

I've said it in the past, he's okay, but makes me nervous, many occasions vs the [Poor language removed], and again tonight, glued to his line instead of commanding the box.

1-0 up, stoppage time, corner to us, only jags and hibbo back for some unearthly reason. Pienaar and Arteta ****** fanny about, dont even get the cross in and lose the ball. And then shortly after, we lose the ball again (pienaar i think) instead of running the ******* thing into the corner and seeing the game out.

Fuming, absolutley fuming. We should be 2 points behind them now. If we want to keep the pressure on we need to get a result on saturday.

I also sit behind the GS goal, just to the left, i saw it clearly go thru Howards hands. BUT, it was struck so sweetly and so hard it was difficult for him to react. It should never have got to VP tho. It should still have been up in the Park End corner.

So the goal could be blamed on: Howard, Jagielka, Hibbert, Osman or Pienaar...

...It was just a great goal lads. Forget and move on.

As i say, I will reserve judgement until i see it again shortly on football first. But if howard has sat under the ball I will fume, lets be honest what has the ball less chance of going through, your hands or your torso?

And if he does sit under it, he's had nough time to react to get out of the way, so why doesnt he stand up and let it hit him?
