Overall a very good strong display, shows how the team is building up based on a solid goalie and back four (don't let Lescott go). A very young back four on which to build the rest of the team. Promises to be really really great.

Disagree. When we tried that, Pienaar lost the ball and if it wasn't Lescott to get it back they could have scored earlier.

Should have crossed that ball to try another goal.

Two points dropped, I think. Although Howard has to accept the blame for Gerrard's goal on Sunday and Arsenal's goal today, I think he's been absolutely great otherwise making some great saves. Absolutely gutted we didn't win as we played so brilliantly tonight. Same sick feeling in my stomach as when Villa beat us 3-2.

I have to agree he gives it away too often. That corner we had before they scored was a prime example. Tried to keep it down in their corner and he tried a back-heel. The next thing the ball is racing up towards our goal. I guess we have to take the rough with the smooth. I'd have prefered the corner be put on the big Fella's head instead.
