Still kind of proves my point mate. We may as well let the team play behind closed doors then eh?

The most important people at that football club are the fans. The one's who pay the money, show support, drive the club on, get the club where they are.

It's all marketing mate, they just want your custom but they don't really care or certainly owe you anything as you suggest.

You pay your money for the match as a spectacle with no guarantees of performance or result.

Saying stuff like they owe it to the fans is a bit Liverpoolish.

I don't agree, sorry mate. Do you think Wigan were wrong by paying their money back to the fans?

Or what if someone goes into a restaurant, and the quality is not befitting the price, the customer has a right to complain and the manager will refund or make sure it's of better quality.

It's just a business, and we are the customers. If not the fans in the ground, the fans who pay for Sky subscription and ESPN around the world.

Your basically saying that Bill Kenwright and David Moyes don't give a hoot about the fans.

Try and get compensation for the poor performances this season on your season ticket mate. It's nothing like a restaurant.

You've got two options, buy a ticket or don't.
 
So basically it doesn't matter if we turn up or not. £500 I will save next year then.

To be honest most of the fans who support Everton believe Kenwright is in it for his own ends anyway, and it's all about lining his own pockets.

Maybe I'm being too much of a romantic over football to believe it is anything more than one big rip off.
