If I was a player I would be try and not get ill or injured for the next few weeks. It's pretty much a training match and this proves it.
With hindsight I'm glad Carlo stuck to the usual three subs, giving more players the full game. Judging by the injuries during the game their fitness regime is obviously not as good as ours now appears to be.

Most soulless derby you’ll ever see that...

Plus point is we look well drilled and really stifled their attacking threat.

Coleman dominant at the back, Holgate looked classy, great shift from Richarlison and DCL looked sharp despite not having much to work with

Really unlucky for Davies with that attempt against the bar. Looked like it took a slight deflection and on another day that would have been the winner.

Didn’t feel like a derby though. This restart is a load of nonsense really isn’t it?
Davies shot was deflected towards the goal, it wasn't on target.

A satisfactory night, just a pity Davies' effort did not go in.

We kept our discipline and shape, despite all their possession they did not really threaten, at no stage did I feel we were about to concede imminently.

Ancelotti clearly had them fit and drilled.

The 2nd half hydration break did come at a good time though, and it was great to see us rally for the last 15 minutes rather than retreat still further.

Bodes well for the remainder of the season, imperative we get three points at Norwich.
