There's a chance but think the home form will fluff it.
we can lock the thread again after the 1-1 on tuesday
Manchester United being able to take the best player from Wolves (Cunha) and Brentford (Mbuemo) for a combined £130million plus goalkeeper Lammens and another £80 million on Sesko probably helps!United have done the opposite and gone from a team last year that were at the wrong end of the table to be chasing CL places with the finishing line of the season approaching. I don`t think its down to them improving a lot but more down to another drop off in the quality of the PL. The fact they missed out on Europe this season helped them somewhat and the fact Spurs landed CL has not given them the chance to recover from how poor they were last year. This year for us is a big chance to jump a few steps forward in one go, but we always seem to let other teams do that while we make excuses why we can`t do the same.
8th only guarantees Europe if a team in Europe wins the FA Cup.8th guarantees Europe
Away form is seemingly in good stead, but United, Liverpool, Chelsea & city to come at home.
Not taking any maximum from West Ham, Brentford, Wolves, Leeds, Bournemouth will be what stops us getting in Europe, mind...
So today is a big game, ahead of Newcastle next week. Id snap ypur hand off for 4pts from the 2.
Thanks Wat.8th only guarantees Europe if a team in Europe wins the FA Cup.
Newcastle/Sunderland the outliers and Palace won it a few years ago but you would think one of them you named would usually win it.Thanks Wat.
