We're in excellent form at home but struggle to take 3 points away. If we continue that pattern it won't be doing badly as the level of opposition is going up.
Amongst the away games are Spurs, Liverpoor, Man U and Arsenal.

We're just more likely to lose those games. If we get more than 3 points I'll be pleasantly surprised, even shocked.

The FA Cup runner up wil be nowhere near the EL.....unless they finish between 5th and 7th or win the League Cup.

At the moment the 6th placed team in the table will join Man. United in the EL (provided United miss out on top four).

If any team finishing in the top six goes on to lift the FA Cup, including United, then the 7th placed team goes in the EL hat.

But under no circumstances will a team be entered in the EL solely on the strength of finishing runner up in the FA Cup Final :)

Sure, I'm just showing the order of priority. Given the present set of circumstances it won't happen but on another occasion (Hull City) it has.

But it won't happen again Dan, that's what I am trying to say.

That gateway to Europe has been closed.....a team will no longer be sent to Europe merely because they were beaten in the F.A. Cup Final by a team which qualified for the CL.

They have done away with that rule :)

If Boro, for example, are beaten in the Final by Chelsea they will not be going into the EL ;)

I don't understand anyone that doesn't like seeing us play in Europe. If we're not aiming to do that then what's the point?

I voted against, but wouldn't be as miserable as sin WHEN we enter next season, would love it to be the
Champions Cup but think that is beyond us this year,

Don't begrudge those who love travelling to European games, good luck to them, but to me The Europa League is an
handicap to our form in The Premier League, I have no doubt about that, but again just my opinion.

As it stands now, if the 5th Rd Replay and 6th Rd go to form AND we stay 7th it's a done deal.

I mean would the FA fiddle the draw any other way.

Chelsea / Untd
City
Spurs
Arsenal

Wouldn't begin to guess who they want...Ooops sorry, how the draw will pan out for the semi's and thus the Final from that 5

I was interested in this ****This poll will close on Mar 12, 2017 at 6:49 PM****

There are four basic rules that I follow when making polls :-

  1. All votes are public
  2. You can only view the results after voting
  3. Never allow people to change their vote and
  4. Set an end date so smart arses can't bide their time and vote when the situation's clearer.
Most quarter finals are played the weekend 11th and 12th, with Chelsea playing ManU on the 13th, hence the end date was set to the 12th. By the time the poll closes we could know three semi-finalists and it doesn't really matter whether Chelsea or ManU get through.

Or I picked a randomish date.

Ok mate thanks, I just noticed it and thought, I wonder why he's set that date and time.
