have a read up on the response of the EU to Italian request to restructure there banking system tell you a bit about there problems.
As you say and its true like Greece before them its been of their own doing as well.
Reading the above its wrong for anyone to hold those people here or over there to ransom, when they upped sticks to start a new life they didnt know this was going to happen so why should they be made to suffer.
Bit of fairness needed on that score but it takes two to tango I suppose.
Sooner pull out right now myself than put up with the phoney war going on at the moment.
Negotiations will be like a war no doubts that's why Zmay stated today deals are being set up with the WTO ready for exit!

Sorry Joe, I'm a bit confused. I'm sure you're not saying that it's fine for Liam Fox to use the bargaining chip thing a month or so ago, but it's the worst thing since sliced bread for this Portuguese chap to do so. That would be rather illogical, so I'm sure you're not doing that, because this is important.

It's a game of poker don't you know!

Although I am pleased that he sensibly supports freedom of movement, further evidence that the government is a total shambles....

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has privately told at least four EU ambassadors that he supports freedom of movement - despite the Government's hard stance on Brexit.

Boris supports freedom of movement

all these U Turns are coming from EU politicians about our politicians the latest one is David davis has stated he wants us in the single market - great I thought then the same guy who leaked the story stated no chance its against our four principles as you can not stay in the single market without free movement which is now reported at its highest ever number since Brexit !

I think what's more worrying is that he's shown a propensity for saying (believing) one thing, and then doing a completely different thing if that furthers his career more. I'm inclined to think that he doesn't believe Brexit is good for Britain at all but is doing it purely to further his career.

I suspect there are very few "true believers" in power. And that many if not most of those involved are entirely devoted to the latter, ie "furthering their careers," such that identifying the former, "good for Britain," has never really occurred to them.

Not the highest ever and the figures are mostly pre brexit.
