Italy have a referendum before that as the banks are near bust they want to return to the lira!
The PM is behind in the polls!
He said he will step down if he loses this vote, posted a while back this was getting intresting.
The 5 star party have said they will have a referendum on still being in the Euro in its present form, if they hold the balance of power and it looks odds on they will at present,
Even if they dont it going tits up with the debt and employment rates over there its 40% among the young.

The bank bonds have spiked they could well be the next Greece on a massive scale a big blow to the EU as Italy are big contributors to the budget like us!

The idea that we might benefit from the destruction of the EU and bank failures is so far from reality.

The EU is our greatest export market and will be for many years to come. If Europe has more problems in the future we will suffer as a result, as will the global economy and further US protectionism.

As was said before June 23rd 'be careful what you wish for'

People soon forget the benefits of the rights of being in the EU .. Obviously economic which basically is financial disaster for the uk .. Imo .. Tm is already taking away human Rights now the snooper legislation which would be harder to set as law under the EU just the start of right wing dictatorship

Plenty on here seem to be quite excited by random political parties across Europe giving the EU a kicking. Makes me worried.

It won't be if it goes bust !
Gives us time to set deals up with the USA and the WTO, and not go down with the Polictical titanic!
Why are you hell bent being in a club that is on Zero growth and disaster is around the corner?
Nothing to do with politics just basic economics!

I think people are confusing Europe and the EU here. Nobody would want Europe to fail, we trade with many parts of it and indeed many parts of it absolutely depend upon trade with the UK. The EU however is a different animal, an additional tier of Government that generates no growth and has as its aim a United States of Europe through stealth and bureaucracy......
