You mean like labelling large swathes of the population uneducated, racist and unworthy of the right to vote?

Ah, that gambit. Right out of the Populist Handbook (UKIP Division). Attack anyone who makes observations about shizzle that's actually going down to spin the blame on them. I have faith in my people, Dandy-Pandy, but sometime we have to struggle to get to the truth.

Who's labelling whom, here, Dandy-Pandy?

Dude. Plastering judges' faces all over the the front page (disapprovingly listing one as "openly gay") because they had the nerve to uphold the law of the land. If you can't see that as the populist rabble-rousing that it is then there's no hope for you.

Well I'm sure being 'openly gay' isn't a crime - wasn't last time I looked. Elton John for one is still a free man, and still appears in that same paper without me seeing any objection from him. Many pro-EU tory MP's are openly gay - I'll bet they'll happily take interviews from the paper to enhance their PR & promote tory policy, tomorrow, next week, next month etc...

Honestly, people really need to rise above this 'intimidation'.

I'm sure the judges at the supreme court will take into account the mail's 'intimidation' when they make judgement. A judgment that the electorate made when they voted 'advised' the government to leave the EU.

Ignoring the will of the people MIGHT lead to serious disorder; so this 'intimidation' could well be a mere bagatelle in relation to what MIGHT follow if the people are ignored once again.

Then you'll have something to cry about. The people voted out because they're pissed off by parliament telling them what they THINK is best. They gave us a vote, and the majority of the MP's wishes were flushed down the pan with the result .

Except they don't like that result so they'll waste time & money by going against the will of the electorate.

Ah that tactic right out of the regressive hand book (tolerant left division) Attack anyone with a differing opinion to your own while ignoring the fact you are just as spiteful and nasty as you accuse them of being.

Meaningless drivel. I lamented the rather visible rise in racist/xenophobic incidents in the UK, post-Brexit > You tried to paint me as someone who sees all "ordinary folk" as racists and thick > I rejected that cynical, utterly illogical tactic > You accuse me of the tactic of refuting utter bull.

Well done.

Rise in reported... Reported incidents. Lots of which were bedwetters complaining about are Nige on the telly.

I've got friends who've been told (shouted at) to "Go home!" since Brexit. Parents of a kids we teach report as much, too. It's real.

Tell me, are you actually denying the rise in these incidents?

Okay. To be honest, mate, I've no time for nomarks who stick their heads in the sand just because it doesn't suit their small-minded narrative. If you can't frame your views based on the truth, you're not worth the effort.

No, I'm talking about my own life, Dandy-Pandy. Me, my friends, my colleagues, my students and their families. You keep sticking your head in the sand. We'll keep quietly shaking our heads at your far-out-there-right stuff and walking off, rolling our eyes.

Is always second hand anecdotes. But whatever you say. I'm sure a visit to a polling booth turned half the country into goose stepping brownshirts.

I know thee and me dont usually agree much on this stuff, but in my recent experience, if nothing else, the UK has become an uglier place recently.

And thats from working in a pretty MOTR town. In London, I can only imagine.
