You're using the veto of Ceta as a stick to beat the EU with.

Yet you implied that there was no way to stop TTIP going through and used it as a stick to beat the EU with.

With your experience in billion dollar trade deals I thought you'd be able to connect the dots.

I never mentioned dollars......
 
Actually I'd say the framework for the EU budget is much more accountable than for example our own Government.

The Council (made of all 28 states) requires 100% agreement before the budget can be agreed, and has to fit in a 7 year cycle as determined in the multi annual financial framework which again requires unanimous approval of all 28 States.

The EU accounts have been signed off by the European Court of Auditors every year since 2007.

I can go into the complex reasons why prior to 2007 it was not possible to sign off the accounts if you wish. (hint it had nothing to do with fraud but technical definitions such as error rates)

Can you go into the complex reasons as to why the Eu would want to attempt to bully us at the WTO when we have similar powers over them.......
