Just a thought like the referendrum was lost on what you think, or your ideologies so either you accept it or argue on here which is fair enough its amusing to me when out means out - if we had voted to stay in I would have moaned for a week - you seem to think that what we are leaving is thriving its like buying a ticket to stay on the Titanic imo ok!

We're just about to sail off on the old girl mate.

And this was essentially the problem with the vote. People like yourself think we can go back to some nostalgic period, when in fact the World has moved on.

Less than half of the population voted to leave, in an over simplistic yes or no vote. A majority of them voted for things that we'll likely not see anyway. £350m to the NHS, no immigration, free trade with China.

Why would you just accept something that is just so obviously wrong?
Look don't have a go at me 52 % of the country in a first past the vote - voted to leave - in the highest turn out for an age -
so you cannot accept the democratic vote ?
I am not a war baby by the way I voted to join in 1973 a trade block of 9 countries who were very prosperous countries just for free trade at a very high membership cost purchase tax that ranged from 3% - 7 % on luxury goods immediately to 10% VAT on more items to pay for our membership we have ploughed since £500 billion.
The EU is not even successful only as a political dictatorship in Brussels!
Yes I do believe as a large economy with the right negotiations we can leave and prosper with our own sovereignty again when you have have Clegg, and Miliband are the big mouthpieces, its a joke no government can show their hands before negotiations it will be bumpy, they are angre at last one country has told them where to go!
look at Greece how they treated them /
Italy's banks on the brink
Spain massive unemployment
Germany bank being investigated
They audit the books now and then and have Fraud in there books titled????
as I said eventually it will go so lets leave out now before we end up paying the price for their incompetence!
we will in 5 years deal in all markets tariffs by them will benefit us to the tune of 5 billion - its bluff and bluster from both sides a deal will be done and I feel we will benefit from our sovereignty our own laws in the courts et etc!

Which laws didn't you agree with?

I've said it before earlier in the thread. Many additional rate tax payers - in our work alone - weren't eligible to vote. They'll likely just move away with their tax contributions when their jobs get moved to the EU.

As for the trade deals etc. I think it's been covered multiple times in this thread, but that video pretty much sums it up.

It seems that for free trade we're not going to be able to stop free movement of people from somewhere. Ironically though, it seems we may just stop immigration by making our currency worthless enough that people won't want to come and work here because they'll have nothing of value to send home after paying living expenses.

I voted out not to have a political union telling our elected government on laws on trade - prisoners to vote etc etc
I just wanted us to be independent again with the ambitions of trading with not just the EU but worldwide again also with the commonwealth countries again ok!
I notice I am being bombarded with post again by the same usual suspects lol

Sorry mate, I think you're missing the point. You can't go round in a debate telling other people to shut up and expect to be taken seriously.
shut up ?????
no I would never say that asking you to accept the vote of the people of the UK is not telling you to shut up how many alerts today hey!
we are going around in circles just give it a rest please!
