I went out with an Indian friend last night who is a devout Anglophile, and even he had to admit that the UK has been on a downward trajectory since the Olympics and is now a second rank country. He also said that his bank is moving a whole bunch of jobs to Frankfurt. This is perhaps reflected in the NHS data this week showing how many foreign doctors and nurses are staying here a short time and then moving for better prospects elsewhere.

No sources given, no examples provided. No links to an in-depth study. How accurate do you think these figures are?
NOW you want accurate figures.

Interesting and good read. Thanks. But this link is for prices in the UK only...

And back to @goats earlier post; energy prices across Europe... I'd have assumed that energy prices in Norway and Finland, primarily due to their locations and climates, would be far more expensive than Spain. But the unsubstantiated figures shared suggests the opposite is true. There are so many variables across EU countries.

Yes, please. I'd genuinely like to know how accurate the quoted energy prices across Europe are. Then we can talk about it sensibly...

If you don't know, you could be inadvertently spreading disinformation.
It took me 5minutes to look into the claims and they were indeed wrong.

But you should always do your own research.

I don't know how reliable this is (although, unlike the Twitter person, they do provide references in the article), but https://www.electricradiatorsdirect...-europe-when-it-comes-to-rising-energy-bills/
