We're in the middle of France at about 500m altitude.
Modern heaters and high insulation.

I'm in a modest 2 bed solid brick wall house heated by gas. Also cook by gas. Loft insulation, 4yr old boiler, doors and windows all installed in the last 3yrs. Cumulatively we pay more for gas and electricity at current rates. We've had mild, but damp, winters as well.

The idea seems to be that Spain will take control of Gibraltar's airport and the island will become part of Schengen. Another win for sovereignty
