Great job everyone.

This is not the only one BTW. There’s one in Liverpool which has been mothballed, one in Lancaster which has been built and is far too big for trade following the revision of the BTOM.

The issue with Portsmouth, unlike the rest of the country, is that it is operated by the local authority so they now need to find the cash to keep it maintained. Hence the huge kick off.

And then we have the mess that is Dover and Bastion Point.

Then we have the mass recruitment drive for 1000’s of people around the country that are basically not needed

A great job all round

What I've noticed over the last few months in supermarkets is there being less fresh food/deli counters. Of course, what do you expect when produce arriving from abroad has been sitting around in lorries with the usual supply chains having been disrupted by Brexit.

Seems like everything's moving more towards tinned goods which don't have shelf life issues. So, in essence, we're paying more for poorer quality and less choice.

It’s going to get worse, the checks haven’t even started yet. Due 30th April for mainland EU with island of Ireland at later date.

Trade has been told to check the opening times of BCP’s; if the consignment gets called for a physical inspection and the authorities aren’t there to conduct the inspection then it waits until the BCP opens the next day.

You'll be relieved to know that this isn't the case at Waitrose. And I believe even the riff raff at M & S can buy an untinned tomato.
