You would honestly like to be in the EU and have Macron leading our military ?….

I said I wish we had a leader with his spirit, America currently leads our military and they seem like good people to be in bed with.

But if the Orange man gets in, we will need to find other friends for 4 years and a Leader such as Macron would be more palatable than the snivelling little coward we have now.

Which is why we put our military expenditure into the Navy. We are not a land based military power, never have been, but somehow managed to beat both Napoleon and the Nazi’s with our allies… horses for courses…..

They are, but times change and budgets move with them. Back in the day our Navy was bigger than the two next largest navies in the world, can’t afford it now mind……

Well, thankfully due to our NATO partners, we are part of the largest military in the world.
