We can already deport people convicted of crimes by the way - borders Act, Immigration Act have powers to do it.

There are a few exemptions but not something we can't legally do.

that is insane , people like that don’t deserve second chances it’s a pity we can’t deport the ones born here too, doesn’t mean the ones who aren’t born here should get a pass though

How are you picking out people born in britain to be deported where exactly? This is quite simply fascinating.

He should be treated by the law just as anyone else, yes.

I don't necessarily have a problem with additional sentencing options based on a convicted criminal's statuses. We already make optional allowances for children etc. So if someone is a foreign national that hasn't gained citizenship then perhaps it should be on the table for the court, revoking their right to remain in the UK. The rest of the legal process should be unaffected so they're being treated by the law just as anyone else... up until that point, post-conviction.

That said, it's another one of those things where some people feel the UK has the right to determine what happens and A N other country just has to deal with it. A UK court finding someone guilty of violent crimes and then dumping them back wherever is just passing the buck into that prison system. Or onto their streets.

The problem with deporting our own is we have to find somewhere that isn't already recognised as a country and send them there.

Then years later their descendants beat us at sports.
