The resulting years must have been a right eye opener.

No, because what happened you see is that the UK DID hold all of the cards and WAS in the strongest possible negotiating position, with the French Champagne makers and German Auto Industry demanding that the craven European 'leaders' capitulate to the Lion roaring at their gates. A new Golden Age was there to be taken...

But then Remainer Quisling "Theresa the Appeaser" lost her nerve, went to Brussels and handed our supremacy over to Juncker on a silver platter. She even let Parliament hold a series of "indicative votes" indicating just how much power Remainer MPs wanted to give the EU over Old Blighty! And she didn't even execute the traitorous Judges when they were unmasked as enemies of people...

Luckily her Faithful Bulldog Boris, who let's not forget "Got All The Big Calls Right", was able to salvage some of the Nation's Pride by deftly pulling the wool over the EU's eyes, once Theresa quit in shame and he took over the leadership. Shamefully, Raving Remainiacs knifed him in the back for his bravery in Backing Britain when nobody else would step up...

The resulting chaos of Tumultuous Truss and the disaster of Sunak the Snake are like some sort of divine karma for what the country did to Boris...

So say these guys anyway:

This surely must be satire.

How’s Germany getting on these days……how’s the Eurozone doing as well…….

Germany is pretty much non existent now that all 27 members have harmonized all taxes, paying directly to Brussels.
It doesn't help that there are no longer any neutral countries in the EU and they've all disbanded their national militaries in favor of one massive EU military.
Of course it was a bad day when all 27 members were forced to join the Euro.

Oh wait, no, none of that happened.

I dunno and I am ambivalent on this whole debate but I've been all over the UK lately and I get the impression that most people don't really give two hoots anymore. They are all driving around in their Merc A AMG, dining out, spending cash and living their best life to be arsed.

Germany, better than us according to forecasts for 2024...

No wonder. Taking us out of the EU has tanked the economy, making it far harder to export to our biggest market on fair rules.
