I still don't understand the vitriol against Farage since he doesn't hold elected office and isn't on the gravy train, but leaving that aside. Can you tell me about an election campaign that was won where lies were not told? I'm pretty sure Remain campaign had plenty during the period in question e.g. Leave Lies? Remainers need to look in the mirror
Didn't hold elected office?

He was a member of the European Parliament, and was re-elected 4 times. The very embodiment of 'being on the gravy train.'

If you think he was the face of the leave campaign through his strong held beliefs and wasn't handsomely rewarded for it I dunno what to say.

The fact he's now cryarsing over brexit as a failure and 'threatening' to love overseas tells you all you need to know.

Didn't Farage say Brexit has failed because the Tories handling of it has been so poor.?

And in 2017 in a radio phone in he made a comment saying "I'd leave if Brexit is a disaster", while at the same time saying "But I'm not going to leave because Brexit won't be a disaster".

Honestly, I tend to not listen to him too closely. My eyes glaze over and my ears switch off.

The facts are he was a major cheerleader for brexit, we'd be foolish to pass up the opportunity to vote leave.

He's also 'threatened' several times to relocate (to the EU, oddly enough) now he's had his fill from the trough.

It's really not complicated. Every champion of brexit was backing it for selfish reasons. (Rees Mogg being a prime example)

If this happens I'll idly speculate that you'll get part of the Tory party claiming its a great Brexit bonus because we can get good deals with the EU and have flexibility to do deals elsewhere...

The other, absolutely batshit, part will scream Brexit Betrayal and blame woke boat people. Maybe even say stuff like they would send the car makers to Rwanda.

Fun times.

That can't be right, I was reliably told that Brexit had no impact on these companies

“Ford has confirmed plans to close its engine plant at Bridgend in South Wales by September 2020, saying it faced becoming "economically unsustainable" in the world's drive for electric vehicles.

The company ruled out a Brexit link after it made the formal announcement, saying that consultations on its proposals had begun with its 1,700 staff and their representatives.”

But don’t let truth get in the way of your prejudice.......

JLR have made mistakes all over the shop regarding diesel and product range and are suffering from a downturn in the Chinese market. The Japanese now have a trade deal with the EU and no longer require EU based manufacturing plants. There is a lot going on in the world and to simply say ‘it woz Brexit’ doesn’t cut it really....
